WAVE OF NEW IMPREZA'S COMES TO SOUTHERN OREGON
MEDFORD, OR -- The earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan in March was felt all the way to
Gregg Sorensen's Subaru dealership near the airport in Medford. "It's just been tough getting
cars," understated Sorensen.
But Subaru lovers wait is over.
"We've got our first 2012 Subaru Impreza on display this weekend!" said an excited Sorensen,
General Manager of Southern Oregon Subaru Volvo Mitsubishi. "It's taken a while, with all that
was going on and is still happening after the natural disaster, but this is just the tip of the iceberg."
Sorensen explained that inquiries have been at an all-time high for the 2012 Impreza, rated as the
most fuel-efficient all-wheel drive car in America. But nobody was able to see the 2012 Impreza
except for in those high-quality glossy catalogs you find in the showroom. "This gives people a
chance to use all their senses to check out the new Impreza," said Sorensen. "But this particular
Impreza will only be here this weekend, November 11, 12 and 13. The complete shipment arrives
in December but the demand to see this vehicle has been so intense we just had to bring one in."
According to Sorensen the factory in Japan has recovered nicely from the tragedy and there should
eventually be plenty of Imprezas to satisfy consumer needs. "But those who contact us first get
best selection," smiled Sorensen.
