Observations from our sales staff about the experiences of our customers who have driven the 2012 Impreza:
They loved the expanded room in the passenger cabin.
They felt no difference in power, despite 22 less horsepower.
They were pleased at how quiet the ride was, in spite of the car being low to the ground.
Of course, the added mpg was perhaps the most commented characteristic.
The frontal wide-view visibility also drew comments.
A lot of the people that I drove were very surprised at the room in the car, especially the back seats. And having the ability to fold the seats down for some more cargo room was the cherry on top.
Some people were expecting the new Impreza to be a dog, performance-wise. Boy were they wrong! The performance is on par with the previous model and when coupled with the better gas mileage it becomes a win/win!
Folks were very pleased with the styling of the car.
